i hate these clad items on ebay, they get in the way of looking for the good stuff. i dunno which type seller is worse... the true counterfeiter that makes 1910 gold half eagle that? tries to pass it off as genuine? the lister of these clad-type Ag auctions, where they are depending on ignorance and impatience to sell their paperweights as bullion? or the person that gets burnt on the clad junk, and then tries to pass off their loss to a different sucker? keep stackin'

@stuzapusa The coin they're selling says "COPY" right on it. But you have to look hard. Furthermore, they're deceptive because, in the opening scenes of the commercial, they show a genuine 1-oz. Gold Buffalo. And then? they switch to their own so-called "Tribute Proof." Disgusting.

@w0tm 10 million 2011? silver eagles. If you have a choice between 2010 and 2011, get 2010. Once again, it is silver though, but if they stop making them (which i think is a distinct possibility), the rarer ones will be more valuable. Regarldess it's just common sense asides from logic.

As? soon as I saw 'silver clad' I knew it was a true scam alert. Here's another one I came across. Nickel Silver Bullion - an exotic alloy. ' Nickel silver' is a legitimate term it is a synonym for 'German Silver' itself an old name for nickel. It is an alloy but it does not contain any silver. It's nickel and something else, copper I think. The price they wanted for this exotic alloy was higher than silver itself.

@Silveready1 Ebay should have an? IQ test for buyers before they are allowed to bid. I sell grams of silver. I put in the title that it is 1 gram and I put in the ad 3 or 4 times that it is ONE GRAM and always some stupid reet will bid 20 or 30 dollars for it and ruin my auction.

@dickstoyevsky Stamped 2010 or 2011? They ended 2010 with 2010 still in inventory. If there is a premium it isn't much. Just make sure they? are 99.99% silver. I only buy ASE's as they are most difficult to fake and a scale plus acid gives me enough assurance. But I only buy from trusted dealer I've dealt with for years and ranked in all lists among five best. Is US & Canadian mints turned back on again? Last I heard they were still "temporarily"not minting due to "limited supply".

Silveready1 is trying to make us aware and then we have ppl like you who are probably the ones taking advantage of the increase in Silver spot prices and posting these bogus listings on ebay. These are something new you know. When I started buying Silver on ebay I didn't see much of this stuff unti silver prices went up. How the hell is an untrained eye supposed to know that the word 100 mills basically means CLAD?
